The Millinery Room is a working millinery studio and workshop space, big enough for groups of up to ten people. If you live in the vicinity, it is an ideal place to come to try out new shapes and ideas at a very reasonable price. If you are further afield, there is good, reasonably priced accommodation near the Millinery Room; why not make a weekend of it with some friends? I know from experience that the space is well lit and comfortable, and I'd never seen so many blocks in one place before! As you can see from the images above, there are plenty of blocks in The
Millinery Room, though if you want to work with something in particular,
it's a good idea to check with James first to see if it will be available (it may be out on hire). If you would like to use The Millinery Room to run your own classes, that's possible too. And of course, we run regular classes by well known milliners, that are suitable for beginners to professionals.
