Welcome To Hat Block Heaven!

Hat Block Heaven is the blog for hat lovers everywhere!  It is your chance to have a sneak peek behind the scenes of Hat Blocks Direct, and its sister companies Hat Block Hire Direct and The Millinery Room.  It is written by Marion Barnett, a textile artist and 'learning' milliner.  Marion came to the very first workshop we ran in The Millinery Room, and, well, we haven't been able to get rid of her since!  She takes a milliners perspective of what we do, and will also bring her experience of textile embellishment to the blog. 

We'll keep you up to date with all the latest information about the company, including what's new in our hat blocks and the workshops on offer month to month, as well as taking a broader look around the millinery scene.  And there will be the occasional special offer just for blog readers.  From beginners to professionals, we aim to have articles and information that will interest everyone; if there is a topic that you would like us to cover, please do email our blog writer, Marion, and she will do her best to fulfil your request.  Or just leave a comment on any of the posts.

We intend to feature regular interviews with milliners and millinery suppliers all over the world.  If you would like to be interviewed for the blog, please do contact Marion direct, or leave a comment with a contact email address or website, and we'll be in touch!  We would also like to feature milliners who make hats for the love of it; you don't have to be super skilled to be featured on this blog!  Do get in touch if you have made something you are particularly proud of, for instance, we'd love to feature it here.
